Dr. Jason Ahlan is one of the founders of Paradigm Health Group. Gaining from the experience he got from working at the Integrative Medicine Institute of Canada, the Canadian Institute of Natural and Integrative Medicine (CINIM) and the Consortium of Academic Health Centres for Integrative Medicine, Paradigm was built upon the mutual benefit of “power in numbers”. His integrative background has helped foster an understanding of how other professionals like medical doctors, chiropractors, physiotherapists and massage therapists can work together for the betterment of the patient.

Jason is an active member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Medicine (AAOM) and is a Certified Chelation Therapist with the American College for the Advancement in Medicine (ACAM). Dr. Patricia (Tricia) Breckon grew up in the mountains in Fernie, BC. She moved to Calgary in 2000 to attend the University of Calgary and to compete for the varsity track and field team. While training for track and cross training for bobsleigh, she sustained a debilitating back injury. Conventional medicine’s answer was a handful of drugs to deal with the pain. That’s when she discovered a naturopathic approach to chronic pain and injury rehabilitation. After experiencing tremendous improvements in her quality of life she decided that offering that kind of relief to other people was her calling. As a former competitive athlete, Dr. Breckon has a large focus on nutrition, chronic pain and injury prevention/rehabilitation. She is passionate about education and is on the advisory team for ‘Warrior Up to Win’, a free nutrition program/resource with the goal of educating young people (and their families) to be healthier, stronger and empowered to make good nutritional choices in order to help them reach their athletic goals. In addition to all things sport, Dr. Breckon focuses on digestive health (including SIBO), women’s health, environmental allergies, stress management, nutrigenomics, autoimmunity and naturopathic rejuvenation (including aesthetic mesotherapy treatments mesotherapy and microneedling). Dr. Breckon was awarded the prestigious Academic Excellence award upon graduating at the top of her class from the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. She takes an evidence-based approach to natural therapy guided by her MA training in health research, biostatistics and epidemiology.
